Keep the kids buzzing about books all year round with a monthly book subscription for 5 to 14-year-olds. It's an ideal gift and our e-voucher makes it easy – simply forward or print and the recipient can take charge of their own reading adventure!
As members of Parrot Street Book Club kids will receive a parcel every month containing a chapter book to keep and an activity pack designed specifically to accompany it.
The books are carefully chosen to introduce subscribers to titles we don’t think they will have easily discovered on their own – no classics, bestsellers or celebrity authors – and we ensure an exciting mix of styles and genres throughout the year.
1. Make your purchase
Choose between a 3, 6 or 12-month gift subscription and whether you’d like it to be for one child or two.
Select which region of the world we will be sending the box to each month.
2. Share the voucher
An e-voucher will be sent to the email address given at checkout. This contains a unique code which can be redeemed to set up the subscription.
It’s simplest to then forward the e-voucher to the child’s parent/guardian.
If you would like something to hand over in person, you may prefer to opt for one of our gift vouchers instead.
3. The child's parent/guardian sets up the subscription
The recipient's parent or guardian will need to redeem the e-voucher, set up a subscription account and give us delivery and reading level information.
Within a few days of setting up the subscription a welcome pack will be sent out addressed to the child containing bookish goodies and an introductory note.
Their first book and activity pack will then arrive midway through the month after the subscription is activated.
Each monthly parcel contains a chapter book and A5 activity pack. They are wrapped in a cardboard book wrap and should fit through most standard letterboxes.
